street style: all about outerwear

As New York Fashion Week comes to a close and our sights are set on designers stationed abroad, let us take one last look back at the action off of the runways in New York. With weather reaching full-blown blizzard status this season, while the runways were full of black and white, the streets were as loud as ever. There is no question that making a statement on the street was all about outerwear.  From florals to furs, leopard to plaid, the statement coat was this season's must-have item.
